Gina's career has some how revolved in and around the legal profession. A professional trained trial paralegal in South Florida for 12 years, Gina left the hustle and bustle of big city living for the clean air and outdoor grandeur of the Blue Ridge mountains in Northeast Georgia. Once there in the small town of Clayton, Gina established a small computer repair and training business, steering people into the newly emerging world of the information super-highway.
Drawing on her training and experience in the legal field, The Computer Lady, as Gina was known locally in Georgia, eventually became the design studio of GinaDrew.Com, after she moved to Asheville, North Carolina in 2002. Almost immediately, Gina was retained by the local bar association to develop their print newsletter, The Bar Briefs, and soon thereafter, event management and administration of the functional aspects association. Gina functioned in that capacity for four years before retiring that position at the beginning of the 2006-2007 fiscal year in order to turn her full attention to growing projects near and dear to her heart.
Gina, a single mother of a teenage son, self described bohemian, and lifelong student of spirituality, is now delving into creation of an online (and eventually print) magazine for lawyers, focusing on utilization of the law as a tool for healing conflicts, as opposed to adversarialism. The Cutting Edge Law Magazine is scheduled for roll out in September 2006 and has already received international exposure and comment. With the help of the design professionals at GinaDrew.Com Design Studio, and magazine partner and collaborative lawyer, J. Kim Wright, The Cutting Edge Law Magazine promises to provide influential and educational materials for lawyers, law students and other professionals dealing with crisis and conflict resolution.
